What we collect
- Account: your email address from Google sign-in. We don't receive your Google password.
- Your videos: the videos, voice clips, pictures and other files you upload, and everything made from them (transcripts, translations, voice tracks, the finished video).
- Purchases: what you bought and how many minutes you have. Card and payment details go to Paddle, our payment provider; we never see them.
- Security logs: sign-ins, sign-outs and important actions, with the IP address and browser, kept for up to a year to protect accounts and investigate abuse.
How we use it
- To dub your videos and show them to you. Nothing else: we don't sell your data, show ads, or use your videos to train AI models.
- To run billing, prevent abuse, and answer reports and support requests.
Who processes it for us
- Modal (modal.com): the servers and storage where your videos are processed and kept.
- Our AI provider: the transcript of your video is sent for translation and checks; a picture description you write is sent when you ask for an AI picture. Under its terms, it doesn't use this data to train its models.
- Paddle: payments, invoices and taxes, as the merchant of record.
- Google: sign-in. Resend: service emails to our operators.
How long we keep it
- Working files: 3 days after a video finishes. Finished videos and subtitles: 30 days after they finish.
- Your account record (email, minutes, purchases): while your account exists, and purchase records as long as tax law requires.
- You can delete any video at any time. To delete your account, write to us.
Share links
If you turn on a share link for a video, anyone with the link can watch it, until you turn the link off or the video is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to the address below. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and one for a few minutes during Google sign-in. No tracking or advertising cookies. Your theme choice is kept in your browser.
